Draft EIS available for public comment – June 17 Public Meeting

FEMA has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to document the benefits and impacts of possible project alternatives. The Draft EIS includes an analysis of potential effects on the natural and social environment, including fish and wildlife, cultural and historic resources, agriculture, economic development, water quality, and wetlands.

The public is invited to review the Draft EIS and provide comments through July 13, 2015. The Draft EIS can be downloaded at www.SouthernFlowEIS.org.

An open house will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Port of Tillamook Bay Officer’s Mess Hall (6825 Officers Row, Tillamook). Information on the public meeting can be found at www.SouthernFlowEIS.org.
